Alyssa

Alyssa joined us at Guildford Animal Hospital in 2015, after graduating from the Animal Health Technology program at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. She is extremely passionate about pet nutrition and enjoys being able to help pet parents navigate this confusing topic. Preventive health is another big passion of Alyssa’s, as she wants to help pets, not only have the best quality of life possible, but to lengthen the quantity of time they have with their families. When it comes to pet illnesses, she has seen and experienced it all with her own pets, so she can really empathize with what owners are going through. 

Alyssa and her husband have been fortunate to open their home to several pets in need over the years, their current fur family includes two cats and a dog. Their one cat is even a blood donor! When she’s not at the clinic, you can find her at home baking up delicious treats, curled up with a book or competing at agility with her dog.
